Sharing the good news Workshop with Sam Chan

Sam Chan is the National Communicator at City Bible Forum. Just like you, he is still wondering what that title means to this day. It’s probably the short form of saying he is a theologian, preacher, author, evangelist, ethicist, cultural analyst and medical doctor. Born in Hong Kong, Sam grew up in Australia and his 3 sons have captured his passion for surfing, AFL, rugby union and karaoke sung poorly (Steph his wife tolerates the last one in particular). Like many, Sam is convinced the good news is good news for all but the good news seems to have less traction - so how do you talk about Jesus? Come and join him as he shares what he has found has worked and why it has.

Wild Street Youth Weekend Away

A president on death row? A king facing the worst of charges? Scandal! Yet at the heart of the Christian message, the King of the world is condemned to death. Atheist Richard Dawkins calls it “cosmic child abuse”. The Bible calls it “the Power of God to save”. Come and see why Jesus death is our only hope now and forever.
