Youth Camp
Youth Camp 2025
27-29th of June
Youthworks Port Hacking site in Sydney’s Royal National Park
What is Youth Camp?
Youth Camp is an annual camp run for young people across school years 6-12 from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. Youth Camp is all about Jesus and at the very core of Youth Camp is meeting Jesus in the Bible and growing as a follower of his in community.
A typical day on camp looks like waking up to see the sunrise over the Port Hacking River, eating a nice hot breakfast, reading your Bible in the fresh air, enjoying our main session, eating and discussing the Bible together in small groups, playing some great games, singing Christian songs around the campfire and then heading to bed.
Our main sessions are a highlight of our time together. In them we get to sing of God’s greatness, pray, read the Bible, sing a memory verse and hear a Bible talk.
The cost of camp includes all accomodation, activities, and food (besides takeaway dinner on Friday night which you’ll need to bring money for). If the cost of youth camp is a problem for you then please get in touch with our Youth Pastor Cooper Ingram at cooper@wildstreet.org.au to discuss some low stress options.
Registrations close on Friday the 13th of June
Topic this Year — Church
This year we’ll have the joy of seeing studying God’s important and life changing teachings about his church from the Bible. We’re going to be rejoicing in God’s kindness of bringing his people home to be a part of a new family with himself as their Father. We’ll be spending a lot of time in Ephesians so please have a look through that letter and speak with Cooper if you have any questions about any of the content.
Drop off and Pick Up
Meet on the Wild Street side of Wild Street Church at 4:30pm on Friday the 27th of June. We’ll pack cars, share some camp rules and information before praying for God to be changing our lives over the weekend. After this we’ll head off for a takeaway dinner in our car groups.
Cars will either be driven by trusted leaders on their green P’s or above or by a trusted parent. If you want to organise your child’s way to and from camp then you can indicate that in your registration form.
At the end of camp on Sunday the 29th of June we’ll be joining together for church at 5pm at Wild Street. All family members are encouraged to hear how camp was and join in praising God for his work in the lives of their young ones.

Safety
Youth Camp has been running for over a decade now and our team of leaders are committed to making camp a safe environment for everyone. Each year the young people on camp have a great time together. We have first aid officers and a great system of camp rules which help all young people to be as safe as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns at all, please give our Youth Pastor Cooper Ingram a call.
Pray
Please be praying for your kids as they go to camp! The leaders are praying that your kids will have a wonderful time meeting Jesus in the community of one another but we are also praying that their encounter with him over this weekend will bless them, your family, and the world as Jesus works in them. (We're also praying that you will have a wonderful weekend too parents!)
Closer to the date of camp we will send out a WhatsApp group to get updates and prayer points in. Stay tuned!
